Scope
This East African Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for packaged mineral water for human consumption. This standard applies to natural mineral water, mineral water, natural spring water, spring water and carbonated mineral water. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition (EAS 13:2018), which has been technically revised.
