Scope
This East African Standard specifies tyre dimensions, designation and marking requirements and load ratings. It also gives laboratory test equipments for strength for tyres primarily intended for agricultural implements. All tyres however shall be subjected to visual inspection to ensure good workmanship. It includes the physical dimensions test for assessing the capability of the tyre, with respect to size and specified rims. The test methods presented in this East African Standard applies to all agricultural implement tyres. This East African Standard also specifies sampling methods, certification and disposal of non conforming tyres.
