Scope
This East Africa Standard specifies the requirements, sampling and test methods for crude, semi- refined and refined palm olein derived from fleshy mesocarp of the fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis). NOTE Palm olein in this standard refers to crude palm olein, semi-refined and refined palm olein.
