Scope

This East Africa Standard specifies the requirements, sampling and test methods for crude, semi- refined and refined palm stearin derived from fleshy mesocarp of the fruit of the oil palm (Elaeis guineensis). NOTE Palm stearin refers to crude, semi-refined and refined palm stearin.
