Scope

This East African Standard specifies requirements, sampling and test methods for milled rice of the varieties grown from rice grains, Oryza spp. intended for human consumption. This standard also applies to milled parboiled rice. This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition (EAS 128:2017) which has been technically revised.
